Welcome to Aria Method

Hi, I'm Aria Kabiri. It is nice to meet you.

My passion is to help clients find their own inner resources in balancing their physical, mental and emotional bodies, so that they can live their best lives. I worked as nurse anesthetist for 21 years. I was in car accident in 2011 and I developed chronic pain. Yoga and Pilates as well as doing self hypnosis helped me heal my body and mind.

 

My love is to help others gain strength, flexibility and balance in their body as well as their mind. I teach Pilates, mat, Reformer, Apparatus, CoreAlign, different types of Yoga, Personal Training, Meditation, Yoga Therapy for mental health. I also work in advanced medical hypnosis and pain management. I enjoy teaching privately as well as teaching workshops. I work with many individuals who have physical injuries, pain, osteoporosis and scoliosis. I am certified in Pilates for osteoporosis. I teach clients how to tap into their own resources to find balance in their own physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. I also enjoy working with athletes and having them become stronger in their sport.

Studio

A two hour gentle, myth-inspired workshop exploring the qualities of Lakshmi—goddess of abundance and beauty—through yoga, breath, mantra, and reflection. Participants engage in practices that invite inner radiance, gratitude, and personal prosperity.​

Yoga and Goddess Lakshmi

A three-hour workshop for the College of San Mateo 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. This session introduces practical, yoga-based tools for understanding and managing stress, combining movement, breathwork, and discussion of the nervous system’s role in resilience.​​​

Stress Management
Stress Management with Restorative Yoga
​A two-hour workshop for the YMCA. This session combines gentle movement, supported restorative poses, breathwork, and mindfulness to explore the impact of stress on the body and mind. Participants learn practical tools for nervous system regulation and experience deep rest as a foundation for resilience.​​
Finding your posture with Pilates

​A 1.5-hour workshop at the YMCA exploring healthy alignment through the lens of Pilates. Participants learn to identify postural habits, build awareness of spinal mechanics, and practice targeted movements to support strength, balance, and ease in everyday posture.​​

Cacao Ceremony: Finding Harmony Within Change 

A 2.5-hour meditation and ritual experience centered around ceremonial cacao and guided inner reflection. This workshop offers a gentle space to explore personal transitions through breath, stillness, and intention. Participants are invited to connect with the heart, honor change, and cultivate inner harmony through shared presence and grounding practices.

Yoga and Imagery

A 1.5-hour workshop at Imagery International exploring the intersection of guided imagery and embodied movement. Participants engage in gentle yoga practices paired with visualization techniques to deepen awareness, support nervous system regulation, and enhance the mind-body connection.

Workshops I have taught

A 1.5-hour workshop at the YMCA offering a quiet, grounding practice to support deep rest and release. Through long-held, floor-based poses and guided relaxation, participants explore stillness, breath, and the calming effects of slowing down.
